Ever since terrible football player and outspoken Christian Tim Tebow found himself out of a job, the religious right has been on high alert for (more) signs of a witch hunt to eliminate Christianity from the NFL. The latest evidence comes in the apparent censorship of a tshirt.
Robert Griffin III, quarterback for the Washington R-dskins, put on a tshirt that said “Know Jesus Know Peace” after his game on Sunday. On the way to the post-game press conference, according to early reports a league official stopped him and made him turn the shirt inside out. As inside out shirts tend to do, it raised eyebrows, enterprising internet trolls found out what the shirt said and immediately cried foul.
